Getting Involved
There are many ways to get involved with our troupe. We have many performance and technical opportunities available throughout the school year and the summer. The most significant of these opportunities are our shows. We are producing two shows in the 2019-20 school year along with a variety and an improv show. Look under the "Current Season" link for audition and show dates! The opportunities are not limited to just acting and performing, an integral part of our troupe is our technical workers. Some positions offered are running crew positions, costume managers, lighting and sound design, and leadership roles such as Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers. Check the blog to find out when tech applications are available with Mr. Stephens. If you have any questions about technical positions or auditions, leave a comment and our officers will connect you with a Thespian in that area. To be inducted into the International Thespian Society means that you have more opportunities within the troupe. To be inducted you must earn 10 points (equivalent to 100 hours theatrical work), have completed work in 4 acts, and have received at least 1 point in each category of Thespian service (technical and performance). To read more about induction qualifications look under the "Forms" link. To look into the opportunities membership awards you and the induction ceremony look under the "Events" link.
